A message from our Chairman

Dear fellow art lovers, Coronavirus is a life-changing experience for everyone. We are all struggling to cope with the new situation, self-isolating at home while following the shocking news coming from all over the World. Our primary concern is to keep ourselves and our families safe, but while we are mostly inactive, our social contribution is also on hold. Like most of my friends, I feel a growing sense of uselessness. Living this new condition, we all feel powerless against the threat, and unable to offer our skills to our communities anymore. Our lack of medical expertise removes our chances to go into the field and help. Can we do more? I believe we can.

HOW YOU CAN DONATE ART

Art4Life is a fundraising initiative specifically addressed to the community of art collectors and artists. We will not accept donations in cash, but just artworks that will be evaluated and presented to buyers through a silent auction online. You may donate a piece of your collection by clicking the link below and dropping your details. We will send you a form and some practical information.

OUR ART AUCTION

All donated pieces (paintings and sculptures) will be validated by Polyseum art historians and an event catalogue will be published. Our online auction might be mandated to a prominent auction house. The proceeds from all sales will be donated to the COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund of the World Health Organisation, managed by the United Nations Foundation in partnership with the Swiss Philanthropy Foundation.

A TESTIMONY TO THE FIGHT

Art donors will receive a certificate and a lifetime membership to the Polyseum Society, the non-profit association of collectors engaged with our educational programs. Buyers will receive their artworks, a proud testimony of their contribution to the global fight against Coronavirus.
